Our youngest class learns mainly through structured play, with a gentle settling-in programme over the first few weeks of term.

P2 builds early reading and number confidence, with plenty of practical activities and shared reading with parent volunteers.

P3 spends a lot of time outdoors, using the school garden and grounds as part of everyday learning.

P4 develops independent writing and mental maths, with weekly whole-class music and singing.

P5 begins more extended project work and uses laptops and tablets regularly as part of digital learning.

P6 takes on more responsibility around school, including buddy reading with Foundation Stage classes.

Our oldest pupils lead school council and prepare for the move to post-primary school with a structured transition programme.
